Adam Dorey hails from the small city of Wenatchee, Washington, where blue-collar work reigns supreme, and creative writers are as rare as unicorns. You might think that this would detour Adam from chasing his dreams, but the world of physical labor has made him hungry as ever for the cushy life of an artist.

Cartooning is where Adam got his start. The idea of playing God has always intrigued him, driving him to translate his creations into written form. Adam was inspired to become a writer by the many amazing worlds and characters he experienced in the films he watched growing up. Watching "The NeverEnding Story" and seeing Bastian read a book that took him on an adventure into another world made Adam wonder if he could write such a story.

To expand his knowledge and writing skills, Adam attended college at Full Sail University. While there, he created a unique flash fiction story titled "Ashwin" that was later published on the Linguistic Erosion website. He graduated from Full Sail University with his B.F.A. degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment.

Adam has in the works a comedy-noir script titled "Gault Greyham: The Smell of the Shadows." It is the story of a detective who believes that he is the hero his city needs, but in reality, is the hero that no one wants.
